The Sutherlands need some lessons in effective whitetrashedness:
1) Saturday morning is the "money hour" 2) Put up a few garage sell signs on various corners around the neighborhood on Friday night. 3) Leave the table with the free sign out overnight. 4) It will be gone by 6:30 am. "Earlybirders" are the greediest. 5) your house might get egged because your garage sale sucked, but at least you saved yourself a trip to the DI.
I should always win. Duh. If mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. And I'm happy that the table isn't in our yard anymore (at least it better not be there again, since I am at work and not a home to prevent you from sneaking it out there again!)

Hey man, you are a marketing professional, you should know better... create some demand.
Nobody wants to take a 'free' table, so you should put it out there with a sign that says 'For Sale $200' and somebody will steal it for sure.
